Duties include, but are not limited to:
Processing retail transactions of firearms, gear, ammunition, and other products and services.
Recording firearm, ammunition and powder transactions according to state and federal regulations.
Maintaining knowledge of legislation and attending in-house and/or out-of-house training sessions.
Providing information related to firearms, legislation and shooting sports to clientele, and being proactive to stay abreast of changes in the industry or researching and asking questions when you aren’t sure.
Keeping the shop neat and tidy throughout your shift.
Opening and closing the shop, which includes putting out and safely storing 100+ firearms per day.
Processing purchase orders, including recording regulated goods appropriately, tagging and logging shipments into the POS system.
Using the directory of distributors to find items for customers.
Auditing your paperwork to ensure accuracy.
Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:
21 years of age or older
Knowledge of firearms
Ability to pass a background check and obtain a COE (Certificate of Eligibility)
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Ability to use a computer including POS (Point of Sale) system, Microsoft Suite, and the internet.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in English
