RANCH MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Full Time 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Demler Brothers LLC is seeking a dependable and mechanically skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join the team at Pine Hill Egg Ranch. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing agricultural, poultry, feed-handling, or production equipment.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair agricultural and poultry-farm equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
Maintain and repair poultry feeding and watering systems.
Work with feed conveyors, augers, motors, belts, bearings, chains, gearboxes, pumps, valves, fans, and ventilation systems.
Replace worn or damaged mechanical parts.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety, biosecurity, food-safety, and animal-welfare procedures.
Complete other maintenance and farm-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
One to three years of mechanical maintenance, agricultural maintenance, industrial maintenance, or equipment-repair experience.
Experience with poultry, feed-handling, or production equipment is preferred.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Basic electrical, plumbing, welding, or fabrication knowledge is a plus.
Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be comfortable working in an active poultry-farm environment.
Training and Support
Training will be provided to help the selected employee learn the farm’s equipment, systems, safety procedures, and daily operations. Supervisors and experienced team members will be available to provide assistance, answer questions, and help with repairs whenever additional support is needed.
Schedule Requirements
Regular shift is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Must be available to work weekends when scheduled or needed.
Must be willing to stay late when repairs or farm operations require additional time.
Overtime may be required depending on maintenance and production needs.

EZ PUPS Dog Training in Ramona is hiring an entry-level Kennel Assistant / Dog Training Apprentice.

This is a hands-on animal-care position with a real path into dog training for the right person. We are looking for someone reliable, coachable, customer-service-minded, and comfortable doing physical work around dogs.

Pay:
Starting at $18–$20/hour, depending on experience and fit. Strong performers can grow into $25+/hour opportunities, plus commission.

Eligible team members may also earn additional monthly commission after training. Current entry-level staff often earn an extra $500–$1,000/month once they understand our programs and follow our client/referral process.

Important:
This is not a “play with puppies all day” job. The first phase of this position is heavy on kennel care, cleaning, feeding, watering, walking dogs, laundry, dishes, poop pickup, kennel resets, and working around barking, hair, odor, weather, and strong dogs.

If you only want to train dogs and do not want to clean, this is probably not the right position. If you want to learn dog training from the ground up and take pride in hard work, this can become a real career path.

Best fit:
Reliable, calm, coachable, physically capable, comfortable with dogs, and good with people. Animal, ranch, horse, livestock, FFA, 4-H, vet, grooming, rescue, shelter, customer service, or dog-handling experience is a plus but not required.
