Biographical Info

With over 45 years of experience, I have developed a teaching approach that works for students of all ages and levels, whether you’re 5 or 95!

I understand the importance of good study habits, the ability to focus, and the value of commitment. Students will learn the basics and in the process, have fun while doing it! The results are very gratifying. From the absolute beginner to the highly advanced, I am very motivated to teach, as well as patient and enthusiastic.

I have music degrees from the University of Southern California and the Manhattan School of Music and currently own and teach at the Hock Piano Studio.

Playing piano is a most valuable and worthwhile endeavor and develops a unique set of skills. And, in the end, students will experience the joy of making music!
